This is QCOSS’s vision for a Fair Queensland:

Queensland is a safe and supportive community with equitable access to opportunity and services for all Queenslanders.

A Fair Start

All Queenslanders have the right and the opportunity to develop their potential through education, training and employment.

A Fair Chance

All Queenslanders are entitled to a basic standard of living and shelter provided for by their work, and by income support when work is not an option.

A Fair Say

All Queenslanders have the right and responsibility to participate in all aspects of community life, including government and civil society.

A Fair Deal

All Queenslanders have the right to justice, both under the law and through entitlement to basic human rights.

A Fair Future

All Queenslanders live in a society which meets the needs of the present without compromising the future.

Fair Access

All Queenslanders can access necessary, cohesive services delivered holistically by well-resourced third sector working in partnership with government.
